Images of the 28" Hollyhock being built on the mold. Once the glass is cut and foiled. Starting from the top brass ring we solder each piece to the one before, and work in a circle until we reach the bottom. Then the lamp is removed from the mold and both inside and outside are soldered. A solid brass rim is then soldered to the bottom. Patina is applied to achieve the look of the original Tiffany lamps. This particular lamp represents about 80 hours of work from start to finish.
