Carved Glass Bathroom Wall Landscape
65" x 78" carved glass wall between a Jacuzzi tub and shower. This piece was carved on a custom made piece of laminated glass in which one side was tempered and the other regular plate glass (tempered glass can not be carved only surface etched). The carving was done on the plate glass side and then insulated with an additional piece of 1/4" tempered glass to keep the carved area from getting wet, making the over all thickness when complete was 1". The design was inspired by locations on the clients property.
